GAS BUBBLE SEPARATION TIME OF PETROLEUM OILS

ASTM D3427 - DIN 51381 - IP 313 - NFT 60149

DEFINITION
This test method covers the ability of a petroleum type steam turbine oil to separate entrained gas.

Air bubble separation time is the number of minutes needed for air entrained in the oil to reduce in volume to 0,2% under the conditions of this test and at a specified temperature.

REF. 941688
Complete equipment for determination of the ability of an oil to separate entrained air in hydraulic, turbine and other lubricating oils.
