FILTER BLOCKING TENDENCY OF DISTILLATE FUEL OILS ASTM D2068, IP 387

FILTER BLOCKING TENDENCY OF DISTILLATE FUEL OILS

ASTM D2068, IP 387

This test method describes a procedure for determining the filter blocking tendency (FBT) of distillate fuel oils where the end use demands an exceptional degree of cleanliness.

REF. 41800
Automatic portable model NBF 210 with printer to determine FBT. The pressure/flow curve is printed at the end of the test as well as the calculation type and results.

REF. 41801
Automatic bench top model NBF 210 with printer to determine FBT. The pressure/flow curve is printed at the end of the test as well as the calculation type and results.

The NBF 210 automatically determines gas oil and fuel FBT by integrating filtered flow and pressure during the test. The pressure/flow curve is automatically printed at the end of the test as well as the calculation type and results.

The instrument consists of the following elements:

A pump system which maintains a constant flow

A pressure sensor set behind the filter

Two 400 ml beakers

An automatic follow up system of the filtered volume during the test

A liquid cristal screen displays the temperature, pressure, time and eventually FBT.

Two models of instrument can be supplied, portable or bench top.

Delivered with a 80 column printer the FBT is ready to be used.

The instrument complies with the European Directives regarding operator and Environment safeties and is therefore bearing the CE label.
