This method determines the percentage of carbone residue of a petroleum product formed after combustion under standardized conditions and covers the determinations of Ash Deposit in petroleum products as other methods using evaporation, pyrolysis, cooking or catalysis process under inert or oxygenated atmosphere with pre-recorded heating profiles.
The NMC 440 model, fully automatic tester, provides 3 preset methods plus 17 additional ones with 4 heating segments. It performs Conradson and ash test up to 750�C under automatic controlled atmosphere. Test report including weights, results and temperature curve printed on any standard printer or send to computer throught RS232C output.

This apparatus gives the detailed test report and the calculated carbon residue. NMC 440 is supplied with 3 different holders, a RS 232 connection, the ticket printer.
