A.G.S. CONE GRINDER

This superlative machine is designed for the continuous grinding and mixing of large or small-scale batches of special materials and laboratory samples down to homogeneous fineness.

The material passes down through an agate collar whilst being crushed against a rotating Agate cone. A variable micrometer control with automatic devices for setting the size reduction rate enables materials no larger than 5mm (3/16 in) grains to be dry ground down to 200 mesh, or to finer micron sizes with the use of a built-in lubrication system automatically engaged for wet grinding requirement: An effective oscillating method to clear ground material from the bowl when continuous grinding is in process, is incorporated in this machine.

The Model type 2A shown here is for wet and dry grinding and is supplied complete with Agates and ready for immediate use. Another model, type 1A, is available for dry grinding use only.
